Aperture - Big Bite

Dr. Reynard Powell chose paleontology for a simple reason: there are no emergencies. That philosophy held true... until a phone call about a discovery in Montana changed everything.

Dr Reynard Powell picks up the phone.

“Paleontology.”

“Ray, you’re not going to believe this. They found a tooth in Montana.”

“Mark? That you?”

“You need to get down here. I spoke with a charter and we're going to Bozeman.”

“I’m not flying to Montana over a tooth.”

“Not even one that’s a hundred and thirteen feet long?”

“One hundred and what? No, that’s impossible.”

“No Ray, that’s not the impossible part. It’s not fossilized. And it wasn’t there two days ago. It just appeared in a farmer’s backyard.”
